Impressions 2009– A Juried Competition

CALL FOR ENTRIES

Mayfield/Graves County Art Guild has issued a “Call for Entries” for Impressions 2009.  The 19^th annual juried art exhibition is open to all visual artists in Kentucky and the surrounding states. The non-refundable entry fee is $15 for one or two works and $7 for each additional work. The award categories are Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Photography, and Mixed Media. $100 will be awarded for first place and $50 for second place in each of the 5 categories plus the $200 Best of Show award. Special awards are the Darleen Phipps Memorial Award for recognition of excellence in oil painting realism ($200) and the Laurel Oak Garden Club Best Botanical Representation ($50).

Impressions 2009 Calendar

Delivery of artwork to gallery  - October 14^th through November 4^th.

Deadline for entries – Wednesday, November 4^th

Gallery closed for judging and installation – November 5,6, and 7^th.

Opening reception and presentation of awards – November 8^th, 2:00 – 4:00pm

Impressions 2009 exhibition – November 8 through December 12^th at the Guild’s Ice House Gallery in Mayfield, KY.
