John E. L. Robertson is also an historian but of more local origin. He will be
bringing works on Paducah, including “Paducah, a Pictorial History” and “Paducah From Frontier to Atomic
Age”. 
Robertson received his degree in history and an advanced degree in economics from Murray State University. He
also received advanced degrees in history from the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky. He is professor
emeritus at University of Kentucky Community College in Paducah. He has published articles and consulted on three editions
of Parkins’ Economics.
